Golden Steer Steakhouse Day

Golden Steer Steakhouse Day

Today we're celebrating Golden Steer Steakhouse Day, as proclaimed by Mayor Carolyn Goodman in 2012. When we were founded in 1958, our steakhouse was just a small dining room with a bar. Customers would bring in game that they caught in the wild Nevada desert for our cooks to prepare, from rabbits to rattlesnakes. Over the years we saw many changes, from the “Old Las Vegas” days when Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. were but a few of our regular customers to when the underbelly ruled Vegas.

Today Golden Steer is known for serving The Best Steaks on Earth™. Whether you're dining with us this week at our steakhouse or grilling at home, we're wishing you a happy Golden Steer Steakhouse Day.

If you're dining at home, we'd recommend:

  • The Steer Setup: Inside you'll find two USDA Prime signature cuts, two steakhouse classic sides of twice-baked potatoes and creamed corn, our house-made accoutrements, and embroidered napkins to set the mood.
  • The Mafiosa: Have sides of your own? Choose the Mafiosa, which includes two USDA Prime 22oz Bone-in Ribeyes and two USDA Prime 8oz Filets.
  • Sergio's Seasoning: Our most coveted secret, Sergio's is the same seasoning we use at our steakhouse now brought home.
