What makes "The Best Steaks on Earth™"

Cooked Ribeye with vegetables on a cutting board

The Golden Steer Steakhouse is the oldest and most iconic steakhouse in Las Vegas. For over 62+ years we have perfected the craft of owning and operating a steakhouse. We gained our fame through the celebrities that would frequent our restaurant like Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley. However, we continued our legacy by consistently providing the Best Steaks on Earth™.

Sourcing

All of our steaks are sourced from the highest quality of meat from the plains of Nebraska and Colorado. We have been working with our partners for decades, which has allowed us to access the creme de la creme of meat. Every item has been taste-tested by experts and enjoyed by our restaurant patrons, is free of hormones and was raised without any unnecessary antibiotics.

The Selection

Our meat is USDA Prime and comes from the top 6% of beef in America. This means that for every 100 cows that are in the country we take the best 6 and serve them to our customers. However we do not stop there. After we select the highest graded meat available we then apply our Steer Standards and wet-age the steak for a minimum of 28 days.

Grass-Fed, Grain-Finished

There is a great debate on whether or not cattle should be grass-fed or grain-fed. We said why not both? Our cattle are grass-fed and grain-finished. This ensures that our cattle is getting all the nutrients and benefits from both methods of feeding.

Consistency

At the Golden Steer our goal is to provide the same quality of beef and that amazing experience each time you have a meal with us. Our hand-cut butcher has been in the Golden Steer family for 20 years and really has made the meat cutting process into a craft. Every piece is hand cut and carved with expertise. After the steak is cut it is then vacuum sealed and frozen so that the quality of the steak stays intact when it is shipped to your door.
